It is Labor Day so you know what that means... the unofficial end of Summer. I have been wearing a lot of dresses this past season. I am adding one more to my collection and hopefully I get a chance to wear it before it becomes frigid out!
Here is a little collection of Summer dresses... to inspire you for next year I guess. Go ahead and break the rules though wear your Summer dresses into the fall by pairing them with boots or a jean/leather jacket.

DeleteI love the dresses that you've picked out for this list! I've once tried to pair a summer dress with a warm flannel shirt and some fleece tights and a parka, and I was still pretty cold. Isn't there another way besides the two that you have mentions that you can keep warm in a summer dress without risking catching a cold?

The only other thing I could think of are boots with leg warmers inside. It sounds like you are in a really cold place (or it was a cold day), Tiffany. I suggest wearing dresses through the early Fall, but if Fall for you is as cold as you mentioned, I would definitely try tall boots and leg warmers before it gets THAT cold. :)
